Whitefield Farm now Staycation Destination

By 4th September 2020 No Comments

Whitefield Farm is now open for holiday bookings, as one of the four new build luxury houses is transformed into a staycation property.

Located in Red Row, Morpeth, the development compromises of four farm style homes; three are up for sale, and one has been released as a staycation property for those looking to holiday near the Northumberland coast.

Construction on the new luxury residential development started back in March 2019, with the building works completing midway through this year (2020).

Shadbolt Group provided a full multi-disciplinary service, compromising of Architectural Design, Civil and Structural Engineering, as well as our Geo-Environmental Team preparing the ground prior to build.

The brief for this project was to design a high-end residential development that complimented the surrounding ‘farm conversion’ style dwellings.

There are two large, farm house style dwellings which are located on the entrance road into the development and are built to resemble the traditional, Northumbrian manner of farm houses with facades and painted, timber sash windows.

Within the site and adjacent to the existing dwellings, there are a further two properties, designed to resemble barn conversions with long, rectangular, brick-built facades punctuated by large, stable style doors and windows. Each of the properties benefits from large driveways and integrated, double garages.

We are involved in a number of projects with Northumberland Ltd., including Newgate Street (The Old Registry) which involved the restoration and conversion of a Listed Building into City Centre Apartments in Morpeth along with four new build dwellings, and a new residential development situated within Townfoot Farm in Shilbottle, which proposes seven new, luxury homes and has been submitted for planning.
