SHADBOLT Group takes the plunge, hiring their first southern-based staff to work out of Corby office.
Stephen, is our newest recruit, and our first member of permanent staff based out of our Midlands office.
Up until now, our North-East engineers would commute each week to work on our large earthworks projects in and around Northamptonshire.
Now, we’ve decided to take the plunge and commit to building up a permanent southern-based team to help reduce commuting and let us expand our southern reach.
Mike Taylor, Director at Shadbolt Group, said: “With the workload down south increasing year-on-year we thought it was the right time to bring someone on board to start managing our southern projects.
“We will also be open to taking on Midlands-based engineers who will work out of our Corby office and be local to our active projects down there.”
Previously, the Corby office has been used as a remote base since opening in 2019. Now we are looking to build up a permanent staff.
With Stephen being an Associate, he will also be responsible for business development in the area; reaching out to local contractors and land developers, and arranging meetings.
