SHADBOLT Group creates new Associate Director position to help Civil Engineering department thrive in 2025

It is onwards and upwards here at Shadbolt Group, as we hire yet again, taking on our forth new member of staff this year.

Mick Taylor, our new Associate Director, has been brought on board to help assist our Civil & Structural  Director with managing the civil engineering department; coordinating day-to-day tasks, involvement in business development, and ensuring we maintain our high standards.

Mick said: “I was not actively looking for a career change. However, I had worked at my previous employer for 11 years, and it made me realise I had reached a point in my career where I was ready for a change, a new challenge.”

With over 25 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer, we have high hopes that he will help our civil department blossom in the New Year, following in the footsteps of our Architectural and Environmental departments which are rapidly growing.

Graham, Director at Shadbolt Group, said: “Mick has settled in well over the past month. He is getting to grips with his new position and has already put forward potential changes he would like to implement.

“With Mick’s experience and an extra set of hands in the department, we now have potential for growth, and the ability to tackle projects we may have shied away from in the past.”

At present, the bulk of our civil engineering work is commercial and industrial. Therefore, in 2025 we hope to create a strategy to break our way into the residential sector.

That being said, we have the opportunity for a new Civil Engineer to join our team. Please see details below.

**NEW VACANCY**

We are looking for another civil engineer with experience in the residential sector and the capability to manage projects independently. If you’d like more information please email admin@shadboltgroup.net.
